It's unhealthy to be like this

January 26, 2009 | Category: Sick & Tired

You know how, when you're really sick, you can't even read? You basically slip between sleeping and watching TV?

That's been me since Saturday.

Consolations?

- CD found a malfunctioning iBook on Craig's List last summer and rebuilt it for me. It's networked to my beloved Boo (If you're not a Mac head then I can't possibly explain why we name our computers [and Volkswagens]. We just do.) So I can still blog despite looking and feeling like a diseased leper.

- CD wall mounted the little TV in the bedroom, and the mount swivels so I can shift around to avoid bed sores and still be able to see Ellen dance.

- Bear has leant me Sara. She makes a lovely ottoman.

The bad news?

I have caught up on every program on every channel. Ever broadcasted. And? It is bad. It is very, very bad. Since you all have been working and living and whatnot, I'll catch you up:

John recovered his memory and eloped with Marlena, while two women are both preparing to have the baby of an Englishman named Elvis Junior. Phyllis is sure that Sharon wants Nick back. Horatio faked his death to suss out his assassin and broke blonde girl's heart for at least 10 minutes. His sunglasses, which are up for a SAG award for best supporting actor, escaped unscathed.

Meanwhile, Montana is pregnant. In a shocking nod towards continuity, Danny is the father. Jack, unable to be a father to his own kids, tries to be a father to Sam's - but the real father came back and now who knows what will happen. The Burn guy lived, Brenda is gonna wear her mother's dress for the wedding, and we still don't know exactly How I Met Your Mother. They got back together on Scrubs, Grey's, and Lost. Not yet on Fringe, NCIS, House, and 91210. Broke up on Ugly Betty, Chuck, and Kyle XY.

There's a woman selling magic bags that keep your bananas fresh for a whole 8 days. The magic beans bags are green and laced with some kind of "natural substance". Reminder: Hemlock, arsenic, and Belladonna are all natural, too. Another Duggar was born, the eldest was married, and they have some kind of weekly series now. Oh, and I want a boflex and a new special hangar system and a Chia Pet - now with herbs!

And am I the only who thinks a restraining order needs to be taken out on teh Verizon guy?

Yes, yes. Clearly, my love affair with TV is fully baked. DING! Time be well.
