All my thoughts today are with the families and friends of the miners trapped below.

Slashdot It!Such a sad story. It makes me think about all the laborers; miners, construction workers, etc, who do dangerous work to provide services and goods to the rest of us.
Their families could not have heard about it in a worse way.
What a way for it to end. My heart goes out to these families and the emotional roller coaster ride they have been enduring.
Yes. I have been thinking of them intermittedly (sp?) all yesterday and today.

As it happens, I've been listening to the audiobook of Last Man Out, which is about a 1958 mine collapse. How little these things change.
