How far would you go to have another child?

I'm so torn.

I'd like a third very much. There are health issues for my wife and she has been advised against it. I guess I'd go as far as we could without threatening my wife's health.

Like the other Michele, as far as our checkbook will allow us ... or in our case as far as and how many credit cards will allow. I am not as far as others in the getting pregnant the high techie way (as I like to call it since there will be no baby dancing allowed) and look to other women who have had difficulties with IUI and IFV and wonder how the hell they do it all the while knowing I'd do the anything to have another - healthy - child. No one can tell you how far is too far - only you and CD can make that decision. I see how much you love your Bear and know that you have so much love to give to more children. Whether you do that by giving birth yourself or by adoption is up to you once you've made the choice to move forward in expanding your family. *hug*

We've wrestled with this ourselves. We have three. My wife thinks that's one too many. I can't say that I'm done yet.

They need us, so for now - we're good. And tired.

Um...you wanna borrow one?

I am envious of your drive. I was born without one. I hope you get a wonderful surprise...

Hugs to you, mama.

All three of my kids were surprises. Making a baby is such a huge decision, with so many variables. I wish you peace with your decisions.

As far as my checkbook would allow me... which sadly isn't near far enough.

I'm struggling with this myself right now. And he's only 16 months old! Now that he's walking and talking, something just flipped in my head that made me miss my little boy.

*Sigh.* I'd have to take the opposite stance on this one. Bear needs you.

To the ends of the earth and back...but that's me.
