You don't know this now, but someday you're going to be working for one of the people you were just put in charge of - whether they are your enemy or your ally at that point is up to you.

You don't know this now, but your management respects confidence more than control.

You don't know this now, but how you use this new power you have is ultimately how it will be used against you.

You don't know this now, either, but the more you stand with your hands on your hips asserting that you're in charge now? Is just about how much everyone rolls their eyes about your behavior when you look the other way.

All managment was new management once, so don't take it so hard. Just remember that you've gotten this far by being you - so don't change the formula.
